First Bocsh report December 2009 - Developing learning frameworks to meet pupils' needs
The first report from the BOCSH group was published in December 2009 and can be located within the Sharing Practicesection of the LTS on-line service. The purpose of the report was to provide an analysis of how five different schools have worked towards developing a learning framework to meet the needs of their communities, through consultation with pupils, parents and staff. Such consultation helped the schools to enhance their own philosophy and ethos. This has then been developed into a curriculum design and the associated timetabling, course choice and staffing issues associated with the implementation of Building the Curriculum 3 are addressed in each school’s case study. There are 5 case studies included in the report.
